DICAS PARA MOTIVAR ALUNOS EM AULA:
1. Em vez de temas incoerentes, temas ligados à realidade do aluno: Chamar a atenção do aluno através de assuntos que lembram sua história de vida, sua vida social, familiar;
​
2. Em vez de profissionalismo, senso de humanidade: Mostrar-se um ser humano exemplar. Aquele professor a quem o aluno diz: "Eu nem queria vir à aula, mas só vim por tua causa!", pois ensina de maneira emocionante e feliz com ilustrações verdadeiras, amorosas e, portanto, satisfatórias;

3. Em vez de teorias, prática: Envolver os alunos em atividades de resolução de problemas, ajudando-os a decidir o que fazer e como fazer a fim de solucionar questões difíceis aulas práticas desenvolvidas em contextos reais que visam soluções de problemas, fazendo com que os alunos se sintam úteis, capazes de ajudar na solução de questões reais difíceis.
4. Em vez de austeridade, entusiasmo: Compartilhar conhecimento e informação com os alunos, envolvendo-os na participação ativa do processo ensino-aprendizagem;

5. Em vez de críticas e punições, adaptação ao ritmo da turma: Não ater-se à imposição das regras, mas inseri-las de modo natural para que sejam percebidas como necessárias para o bom desempenho das ações individuais e coletivas;

6. Em vez de respostas prontas, levar o aluno a raciocinar: Criar desafios que incentivem o aluno a desejar superar dificuldades, alimentando nele o sentimento de conquista;
​
7. Em vez de aulas metódicas, contextualizar os conteúdos: Relacionar os conteúdos programáticos com fatos da atualidade.
8. Em vez de aulas mecânicas, aulas dinâmicas: Recursos audiovisuais, atividades lúdicas, que façam o aluno compreender o que está sendo ensinado, ao invés de apenas memorizar tópicos diversos;

9. Em vez de recriminar erros, reconhecer tentativas: Contribuir para a autoestima do aluno, levando-o a reconhecer sua importância pelo esforço despendido na execução de uma tarefa. Congratulá-lo, independente dos resultados;
​
10. Em vez de estudos maçantes, utilizar técnicas não estressantes: Diálogos, interpretações, reflexões, debates são formas de desenvolver capacidades cognitivas sem causar enfado por estimular ações espontâneas.

TIPS FOR MOTIVATING TEENAGERS IN THE CLASSROOM:
​
1. Instead of incoherent topics , topics related to the student's reality: Draw the student's attention through subjects that recall his life story, his social life, family;
​
2. Instead of professionalism, sense of humanity: Show up a great human being. A teacher to whom the student says: "I really did not want to come to class, but only came because of you", this is because he teaches in a happy manner and so excitingly with illustrations of true and lovable examples, that can achieve a satisfactory result;
3. Instead of theories, practices: Engage students in problem solving activities, helping them decide what to do and how to solve difficult issues. Classes developed in real contexts aimed at solving problem, making students feel useful, able to help in solving difficult real issues;
4. Instead of austerity, enthusiasm: Share knowledge and information with students, involving them in active participation in the teaching-learning process;
5. Instead of criticism and punishment, adapting to the pace of the class: Do not stick to the imposition of rules, but to put them in a natural way so that they are perceived as necessary for the proper performance of the individual and collective actions;
6. Instead of ready answers, take the student to reason: Create challenges that encourage the student wish to overcome difficulties and nourish the sense of achievement;
7. Instead of methodical classes, contextualize contents: Relate the syllabus with current events.
8. Instead of mechanical classes, dynamic ones : Audiovisual resources, fun activities that make the student understand what is being taught, rather than just memorizing various topics;
9. Instead of blaming errors, recognize student’s attempts: Contribute to the student's self-esteem, leading him to recognize his importance by the effort expended in performing a task. Congratulate him, regardless of the results;
10. Instead of boring studies, use the application of none stress techniques: Dialogues, interpretations, reflections, discussions are ways to develop cognitive capacities without causing annoyance for those activities stimulate spontaneous actions.

My top tip for motivating teenagers in the classroom is my own “Instead of" Methodology. How it works? Teacher and students interact with each other based on 10 simple steps of this unique methodology.
Let’s see: Instead of boring studies, use non-stress techniques;
Instead of blaming errors, recognize student’s attempts;
Instead of mechanical classes, dynamic ones;
Instead of methodical classes, contextualize contents;
Instead of ready answers, take the student to reason;
Instead of criticism and punishment, adapting to the pace of the class;
Instead of austerity, enthusiasm: Instead of theories, practices;
Instead of professionalism, sense of humanity;
Instead of incoherent topics , topics related to the student's reality.
Each step requires a specific way to be developed according to Behavioral Situations, Expectations, and Trigger Events, possible to occur inside or outside the classroom wherever studies can take place.
